Setting a basecamp, a research station and a restoration lab in the Barbacoas Region.
With support of IUCN-NL, in 2012 FBC purchased El Silencio, a 76 ha cattle farming land with about 24 ha of well preserved forest. Since then, we have carried out active and passive restoration of grasslands, we have protected wetlands and forests and built a Research Station and a plant nursery.
