To 2022, 290 ha of restoration have been earmarked for restoration in the reserve, including 20 ha of active restoration (supported by Frontera, American Bird Conservancy and private donors), 38 ha of active communty-based restoration (supported by the GEF-Magdalena and Plant for the Planet), 12 ha of connectivity corridors aiming to connect 2700 ha of continuous forest habitat (supported by the GEF-Magdalena) and 10 ha of agroforestry units (supported by American Bird Conservancy and Rainforest Trust).
