Capacity Building for Local Communities on Forest Land Allocation, Sustainable Forest Management and Forest Fire Management
After one year piloting the Forest Land Allocation Program 2018-2020 (FLAP), the Forest Department of Que Phong district found an entry point to accelerate the process of entitling forest land for communities and households in three communes--Dong Van, Thong Thu and Tien Phong: a participatory training on forest land allocation which offers the local people knowledge about FLA process and mandates of stakeholders, and skills on forest demarcation and forest resource assessment.
