Our first natural regenerating forests are in the northeastern part of Germany, within Brandenburg. Close to Berlin are our wild and diverse forest patches the complete opposite of the surrounding mono-cultures of Pine trees. Bought in 2019, after a clear-cut of all mature trees, a lot of Pioneer species like new Pines but also Birches grew within the corridors. After only a few years, a tall and several meters high canopy is the sight of today. We explicitly do not plant, but let nature handle the selection of the species which grow within our forests. We keep calm and give the time to proceed through every step of the natural succession.
