The nature reserve and water reservoir "Filo del Tallo" in the Panamanian Darien is surrounded by deforested and degraded areas. This isolates the park's biodiverse natural forest and the species living in it and puts them under massive pressure. Especially the exchange of species is disturbed. We want to reforest a 278 ha deforested and degraded area ("Filo del Tallo 1") along the park and significantly expand the forest area in the coming years.

The properties are located at 236 kilometres from Panama City and then one kilometre from the Panamerican Highway to the entrance of the property, which is made of gravel. The internal roads of the property are made of dirt, gravel will have to be added.

The properties have good topography, soil and climate.
The purchase is recommended, because it technically qualifies in more than 75% of the surface. It has good access, close to the Panamerican highway, a ford or bridge should be built to connect the whole farm internally, it has permanent water.
The land is adjacent to the Filo del Tallo water reserve, of great importance in the region. A TGF project would add more forest area to the reserve.
