Project
Reforestation and afforestation integrated into local life in Ghana

Our project
In each of these communities, we establish a nursery producing cash crops and forest trees. Half of the trees planted are cash crop trees that are distributed free of charge to the local population, thus providing them with a new source of food and income. By providing these natural resources necessary for daily survival, our aim is to prevent slash-and-burn actions in nature reserves, national parks and forest areas.
Furthermore, our local team is continuously adapting our "direct seeding" technique to the specificities of the Ghana's territory.
