Agroecology has the potential to play a crucial role in climate change mitigation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development. Although promising small-scale agroecological initiatives exist, there is a need for upscaling to achieve substantial regional impact. The ID Agroecology project aims to contribute to the development of pathways that facilitate this upscaling. Initially focused on Madre de Dios, Peru, the project has also started to develop research in Bern, Switzerland, with potential future extensions to other regions.
