Together with the Nature Data Alliance and RSS Solutions, we are heading a joint pilot project to achieve transformative change centered around carbon compensation. The aim is to create a digital 3D-Twin of the solutionscape in Kenya to design carbon credit projects as well as various co-benefits for people and nature. We want to ensure state-of-the-art scientific approaches and objective evaluation as well as fair and transparent participatory processes in the region. With partners, we will also create better biodiversity measures and monitoring, and link partners to our existing incubators.
