Project
Chaco • Argentina Started in January 2011 Active Conservation, Education, Research, Restoration, Tourism
Summary
The Gran Chaco is South America’s second largest forest and a uniquely biodiverse region. Unfortunately, it is also one of the most deforested areas on the planet due to the expansion of the agricultural frontier. After participating in the creation of El Impenetrable National Park, our goal is to expand the legal protection of the land, restore the ecosystem, and increase income and wellbeing of surrounding communities.
