Mavronero is the name of an area, located in the backcountry of Larnaka district in Cyprus. You find it close to Stravrovouni Monastery in the elevating terrain (ca. 270 meters asl). The farm extends over 25 ha with Poúzis river crossing the land.
Since 1982 the farm is certified for Organic Olive farming with more than 1000 olive trees, a variety of other trees and wild herbs.

We will follow the idea of integrated farming (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_farming), combining the traditional way with new management processes and technologies, helping to avoid any chemicals and heavy machine usage.

We will protect the mayor part of the area and not increase cultivation (Less than 20% of complete land will be cultivated).
Our farm should become a knowledge hub for organic farming and reforestation.

Therefore we are always looking for parters in research and project development.
