Summary
With reduced land production per unit area of land and increased competition on grazing pastures for both wildlife and cattle for the communities around lake Olbolosat, we are trying to come up with alternative farming practices that will increase incomes, rather than using traditional methods. Pond fish farming and bee keeping if embraced will significantly improve incomes and in turn make everyone purchase their basic needs and reduce conflicts. Also zero grazing and goat keeping for dairy.
