The Palau Pilot Project has deployed two ABALOBI apps, FISHER and MARKETPLACE, in Palau. The aim is to facilitate transactions between fishers in two communities in the north of Babeldaob, Ngarchelong and Ngardmau, and restaurants in the capital, Koror. A unique component of this project is the deployment of an experimental design to establish baselines across treatment and control groups, enabling the tracking of outcomes and impacts from the intervention of ABALOBI technology over time.
