Oscar Augusto Gómez, originally from San Martín Cuchumatán, in the municipality of Todos Santos, owns 0.70 hectares of coffee in the community of Manantial, speaks Spanish and is a member of the ADAT Association, with which he markets his production with the Fair Trade FLO seal through the Kiwa BCS organic certifier, benefiting from better prices.
In his plantation he has the varieties caturra and bourbon, as well as banana, lemon, chalum and gravilea plants, from which he obtains firewood and fruits that are used for family consumption. During the period 2019-2020, it managed to obtain 21.11 quintals of parchment coffee, which it commercialized through ADAT.
