Rufina Ramírez, a partner of ADAT, speaks Spanish and has a 0.43 hectare coffee plantation in the community of five streams, which is currently organic certified and has established the varieties of caturra, bourbon and pache, in combination with chalum and banana plants, thus forming its own agroforestry system.
In the 2019-2020 season, it managed to harvest 14 quintals of parchment coffee, which it commercialized through the base organization and with the Fair Trade FLO seal through the organic certifier Kiwa BCS, allowing it to obtain better prices than in the conventional market and placing its production in the main international markets.
