TF will be implementing the reforestation through planting design, carbon assessments, species selections, monitoring and evaluation etc. The land holders are private Tea Garden lessees who have leased the lad from the government revenue department to cultivate tea as a commercial crop. The areas of the tea garden currently lying fallow due to unsuitability of tea growing will be used for reforestation to accrue additional income for the tea garden, the worker communities and ecosystem services.
