TF (stakeholder #3) will be implementing the reforestation (through soil assessment, carbon calculations, stand health monitoring and evaluation, nursery practices, tree selections and planting design) through active hand holding with the land owners (stakeholders #1) and the local community organizing NGO (CESR, stakeholder #2) who have worked in the landscape and with the majority tribal communities therein for the past few decades.
The land holding where these social forestry interventions will be implemented are privately owned and managed by these individuals and families and they will provide labour, land access and be the ultimate beneficiaries of this project through livelihood generation for maintenance, eventual ecological restoration of services and income through sale of timber and non-timber forest products and commons services at the village level.
