Together with Go Forest and Proximus, Faja Lobi works in DR Congo (region of Idiofa) with the local communities in a bottom-up approach to realise large scale reforestation projects. We plant native species on degraded soils to restore biodiversity. Manual labor creates many local jobs. Adding social projects and introduction of agroforestry helps to establish a strong relation with local people that must secure the future of the new forests.
