Summary
Sitio Capinzal is a private property of 13 ha bought in 2019 by a couple of biologists in love with the Cerrado. This area was originally deforested in 2003 and partially converted into exotic pasture. In mid-2019, the property no longer has cattle grazing and has undergone a series of management actions to reduce degradation and improve water retention. Two-thirds of the property today is in the process of natural restoration of native Cerrado vegetation, and the remaining third is agro-savanna
