The Ruta Monarca Initiative is a sustainable socio-environmental model with integrated solutions to preserve the migration route of the monarch butterfly, implementing the installation of ethno-agro-ecological gardens that combine the benefit of natural reproduction of butterflies during their migration and the production of healthy food with agro-ecological techniques for the benefit of the communities that own the land, as well as monitoring and evaluation of indicators.
