Sustainable Development Goals
Summary
The Sui River Landscape in Ghana's Western North region is vital for cocoa, timber, and natural resources management. Cocoa farming supports most livelihoods, but unsustainable practices and logging have degraded the forest. Climate change and erratic rainfall also threaten agricultural productivity. Two Landscape Management Areas and a Board oversee sustainable resource governance.
