The presence of this important protected natural space seeks to preserve the flora, fauna and ecological processes of a sample of the tropical rainforest.

Activities in this zone are based on a contract signed between AIDER and the National Service of Protected Areas of the Peruvian Government for the development of operations of Biological Monitoring, Promotion of the Research and Ecosystem Services.
