Polygon dedicated to: Global Mangrove Trust

The project area has been subject to deforestation and long term degradation. Under the project these lands are reforested with the active participation of local communities. By registering these areas under VCS standard, WIF expects to ensure the long term protection of the mangroves through carbon financing.
