Planting micro ecosystems in the form of 'nests'
We planted 50 'nests' -micro ecosystems on the land of our team member Jeroen. On every squared meter we planted 3 saplings, 3 cuttings and 5-10 seeds of different native species. We improve biodiversity, soil conditions and the watercycle this way

Creating 'nests' with micro ecosystems
Restore Nature Foundation offers the possibility to 'adopt' squared meters of land that we regenerate in your name. On every adopted squared meter we create micro ecosystem with native species. We planted around 150 nests in this area.

Agroforest implementation
We implemented an Syntropic Agriculture design inspired by the course we organized in October. We gathered all the material and put the design that we had brainstormed over for a long time into the soil of Jeroen (RNF's board member)'s land.

Agroforest implementation during Syntropic Farming course
We implemented 5 lines of productive and educational agroforest, supported by 4 X-lines in between. We organized a 5 day course- the first one in syntropic agriculture in the Algarve- to spread regenerative knowledge and implement a new area.

New layers of mulch for the forest
With the harsh summer conditions starting up, with intens sun and wind, it is crucial that we protect the soil in our project areas. We do this by adding thick layers of biomass to the planting lines.
