Summary
The forests of Eastern Australia are a global biodiversity hotspot and also one of 24 global deforestation fronts. These forests were the epicenter of devastating wildfires in 2020. With support from HP, WWF developed a wildlife and landscape regeneration program to improve policy conditions, help restore wildlife, habitats, and communities, reduce deforestation, boost sustainable resource management, and future-proof Australia’s forests.
