LANSIV is a Seychellois-based entity with the aim of empowering artisanal and small-scale fishers to play a more meaningful role in value chains. LANSIV was founded in 2022 by three Seychellois. The founders of LANSIV believe that leveraging technology will offer benefits to both fishers and buyers in the unique context of Seychelles.

LANSIV aims to encourage artisanal and small-scale fishers utilizing the Fisher app to pursue developing value-added products for sale via the Marketplace app. The concept that is being explored is developing a range of high-quality blast-frozen products that can be marketed to local chefs, restaurants, and homebuyers as a convenience range and as a source of local Seychellois product during times of limited availability of fresh catch.

LANSIV facilitates a relationship where chefs and restaurants can work and partner with artisanal and small-scale fishers to secure an ecologically responsible and socially fair seafood supply.
