Sofidel is working to improve its pulp responsible sourcing policy, setting, implementing and monitoring effective and ambitious commitments to improve their performance and reduce the risk of deforestation, ecosystem conversion, and human rights violation in priority areas within company’s supply chains. It will do so by: strengthening supplier’s engagement program; implementing an effective monitoring and assessment system; and improving and implementing a Code of Conduct for suppliers.
