In 2023, we co-launched the Cha Simba Relics establishing an indigenous tree nursery with 20 local community members. This project has now produced 6,000 seedlings from 25 species contributing to environmental restoration and community welfare.

Today, we celebrated Earth Month by planting 600 mature indigenous tree saplings with The LEAF, bringing our total to over 5,000 saplings planted together in Kenya.

In the hinterland, a sanctuary teeming with rare fauna, flora, and ancient limestone cave systems lies The Cha Simba smallholder community, the guardians of this sacred relic.

An update on the progress of efforts to regenerate the ecosystem at Cha Simba Caves

The Cha Simba Caves community has made remarkable progress in their mission to restore the precious ecosystem of Cha Simba. They have grown over 300 indigenous tree species, including rare and vital varieties.
