About

RONAP is a cooperative with 54 Brazil nut forest concessions. Together, they maintain approximately 44,000 hectares of forests. The majority of the members are between 60 and 80 years of age and each one represents, on average, three related families. RONAP buys the Brazil nuts and sells them, mostly abroad, generating additional income for the members and creating a common fund for the maintenance of nurseries and financial security of the members.
